Can you help us?

HypoActive needs your help to enable us to keep doing the stuff we do.  It is getting even harder as Convenor Monique is finding it hard to stay up all night to ensure everything gets done.  It would be great if you could help us out so she can concentrate on growing her baby.
 
We need immediate help with:
 
Website publishing
 
Tasks involved:
- publishing news articles and photos of events and contributions from members
- chasing up leads on articles and links to things like latest research
- managing subscriptions/spam
- assist with managing surveymonkey usage
- assisting with the publishing of our ongoing research project on experiences of type 1 management in various events
- reviewing existing functions and recommending/implementing improvements to the current website function/s
- requires regular liaison with the Communications Officer, Newsletter Editor and Convenor.
 
While some of the tasks described are project-based (ie, have a limited time frame), it is expected that the ongoing time commitment for maintaining content is around 3-4 hours per month.
 
Policy Officer

Tasks involved:
- review the existing policy framework that HypoActive operates in including the Governance framework
- identify policy gaps
- in collaboration with the planning committee, work on developing new policy to cover existing gaps (including liaison with DA-Vic)
- ensure adoption and publication, where appropriate, of policy by the planning committee
 
These tasks are entirely project based (ie, do not require an ongoing commitment).  It would be appreciated if the tasks could be completed, within reason, over the next six months.
 
Event Manager/s
 
Tasks involved:
- assistance with recruitment of and liaison with participants
- coordinate events in line with the Event Management Plan and associated policies
- recommend ways of improving event organising
 
Depending on the nature of the event, the time involved can vary from 1-2 hours per week to up to 4 hours a week (in the week prior to the event).  The commitment is time limited as it is based around an event with a set date.
 
Sales Manager
 
Tasks involved:
- coordinate the sale and distribution of HypoActive products to interested persons
- monitor supply issues, plan for and coordinate production
- maintain an inventory of all stock
- coordinate orders for special items such as cycling and running kit (which cannot be pre-ordered in bulk and must be coordinated to ensure delivery in time for the related upcoming event)
- once payments have been secured, distribute items to purchasers
- liaise with the Treasurers to ensure transactions occur within appropriate timeframes
- work with the planning committee on what items should be produced in the future that meets interest and demand from members, and aligns with the mission statement of HypoActive
- recommend and implement improvements to the sales system and distribution
 
This would be an ongoing role and would involved up to 2 hours per week commitment.  Access to email is essential as well as the capacity to store and monitor items.
