With four new riders and two new support crew, all minus working pancreas' and with little idea of their riding background, we weren't so sure how the team would fare this year.  The current riding form and general fitness of our six returning riders from previous years was also a bit of an unknown.  Enter the headwind from our start town in Echuca, consisting of a lovely south westerly wind which hit us head-on as we departed town.  Would we survive the next 420km to Hamilton?
