Hey Everyone,
Well we have made it through winter and onto Spring which is warmly welcomed! HypoActive has been preparing well for the seasons ahead. We will be running a record number of events over 2009/10 and if I can say so myself they will all be very awesome.
Our first big event is the very laid back, very family friendly, walk round Albert Park Lake for the 2009 JDRF Walk for the Cure.
If you haven't already, please register as part of our team at:
http://walk.jdrf.org.au/register.asp?pType=2&pTeam=158&pCorpFamily=1&pState=Victoria&s=1&tUrBp=1
Those who register will be able to get our very new 2009/10 tee-shirt for free! We will also have more tee-shirts for sale on the day for $20. Kind of an easy choice, isn't it?! But make sure you get your friends and family to support you, and also bring them down on the day. Very laid back, and all welcome (even the four legged variety!).
We are also very excited to launch AcT1vate, a weekend dedicated entirely to getting the most out of exercise as a type one diabetic. Check out the details, and make sure you register your interest before all spots run out!
Til next month,
Monique

On behalf of everyone at HypoActive, we would like to congratulate Jana and John Cronin on the birth of their twins. News from Jana below, with some pictures of the very cute babies on our website
Hey Everyone,
We are very excited to announce the safe arrival of our precious twins
Xavier Paul & Simon Ray
They were born on Monday 31st August, weighing 8lb 10oz and 8lb 1oz (yes very big boys, I was big but never guessed they would be that big!). Their arrival was trouble free, which was great.
We have now been out of hospital for 3 nights and the boys have been very good, considering we are still learning all the settling tricks. But it is all just amazing, they are so cute and perfect.
Cheers John, Jana, Xavier and Simon xxoo
