HypoActive received a special honour of being a charity partner for the 2011 Jayco Herald Sun Tour. As part of the five day stage race around Victoria, HypoActive ran four events:
HypoActive is having a massive October, and we would love you to be a part of it. Check out what is on offer and get involved! It doesn't matter how fast or slow or injured you might be, we have something for everyone. Dip your toe in the water and find out why it is such a good thing to hang out with others living with type 1 diabetes that are interested in the same kinds of activities as you are. If you can't do it, then get your friends and family members involved to support YOU!
C'mon - GET ON BOARD!
Anyone out there interested in running socially?

HypoActive invites all runners wearing insulin pumps (any brand) to apply for the 2011 Medtronic Global Heroes program. We would love to have an Australian representative with type 1 diabetes participate in this program - for the first time ever!
Roger Hanney is a Sydney based long distance runner with type 1, who has kindly combined his experiences of marathon (and beyond) running with his ability to tell a tale well. His latest installment focuses on lessons learned in some ultra-marathon distances, and is a seriously great read. Enjoy!

Places are available for young people with type 1 to attend the AcT1vate dinner - at no charge - and witness the Ask the Athlete panel.
This will be held on Saturday, 5th February, 2011 from 7pm.
