Please join us on this laid back, family-oriented day as HypoActive launches our 2009-2010 calendar of events. All welcome - family, friends, pets. Walk and Talk around the Lake, share your story and meet others living with type one diabetes! Please register your attendance on the JDRF website, here.
JDRF's Walks are family-friendly, held at great locations, and feature plenty of entertainment, food, and fun. We invite you to become one of the 500,000 people at our 200 Walk sites nationwide this year who are making a difference in the lives of people with type 1 diabetes. You'll have a great time, get some exercise, and, most importantly, be a part of the cure!

A great bunch of HypoActive crew were out in force for the annual JDRF Walk for the Cure at Albert Park Lake on Sunday, October 14. The weather was awesome, the crowd terrific, and more than anything, our t-shirts looked unreal. However despite our sure-bet entry in the t-shirt competition - thanks to the wonderful performance of twin type ones Hayley and Renee - we were upstaged by the gimmick model-your-t-shirt-on-your-dog trick. Next year will be ours!
Congrats to the team for their 'second runner up' award in the T shirt competition, and for the fundraising effort that surpassed their team goal. Thanks to Laura for her design and organisational work for a great day.
