WORDS FROM MYSTERY GUEST NEWSLETTER WRITER

Hi Everyone,

With our much loved newsletter writer, Gavin Wright, fleeing the country for a well deserved break, HypoActive was facing the horrid thought of a newsletter-less month.  Thankfully, a mystery HypoActive contributor has stepped up to the plate to bring you this exciting delivery straight to your email boxes.  And if you are receiving this newsletter for the first time, don't worry: Gavin will be back next month!

In case you are missing the dry wit of Gavin over the poor sentence structures you'll find here, don't despair then.  In fact, he has timed his departure impeccably.  You see Gavin has been nominated for a Sweet Talk Award.  This is big time.  And he needs your help.

The Sweet Talk Awards are a new awards category to help share stories of people with diabetes in the Australian community. Check it out here:

Voting for the Awards opens on Sunday October 9.  So you'll have to set your calendar as a reminder to hit the website and place your vote.  Although Gavin was nominated by another anonymous contributor (which we are extremely grateful for!), he is very pleased with this honour.  And like anyone with an ounce of competitiveness, he would like to win.  I reckon it's an ideal way to thank him for all his work he has done for the diabetes community, and I encourage you all to give him a vote of thanks.  If you would like to, that is.

October happens to be HypoActive's busiest month on record, including four events held in partnership with the Jayco Herald Sun Tour, the oldest stage race in Australia.  We are very fortunate and proud to be an official charity partner of this prestigious event.

Please check out the huge variety of events on offer, and if you can't make it yourself, then help us out by passing this onto anyone really.  Anyone at all.  Share the love.
